The First Lady of Zimbabwe came to St. Petersburg for the first time to participate in the International Women's Forum. JSC "Alrosa" with the help of MSG agency organized a charity and entertainment program for the First Lady.
Mrs. Mnangagwa together with the Alyosha Charitable Foundation visited the Family Upbringing Assistance Center №7 and provided help and support to the center and its children. A special gift for the First Lady was an exclusive private visit to the Hermitage and a factory of the world famous Peacock.
On October 12, the centerpiece of the program was a visit to the Catherine Palace in Pushkin, where there were no other visitors besides the delegation. After a tour of the halls and a visit to the Amber Room, a fashion show of new collections by Igor Gulyaev and Alena Nega was held to the accompaniment of a grand piano and a marvelous opera performance by Darya Davydova.
The First Lady also visited the Fabergé Museum. For two days the best St. Petersburg restaurants introduced the First Lady to exquisite dishes of world as well as Russian cuisine.
