The format of sailing regatta is sports and entertainment, and this means that participants will not only become familiar with sailing, but also will have a great time in the company of colleagues.

The regatta is held in several stages. Before the arrival of guests, yachts and captains having racing and training experience gather on the berth. Judges of the regatta on a pleasure boat set a distance on the water, prepare marks, flags, and the starting procedure.

Further, participants are being briefed: the regatta judge explains the scheme of the sailing distance, the task of competitors and the basic rules of sailing competitions.

Before the start guests, under the guidance of captains, put up the sails and learn how to manage the yacht, then they make a series of maneuvers and turns, ensuring well-coordinated work of the crew.

Finally, it is time for regatta itself. Crews already manage yachts on their own and work with the sails. They have to round a series of marks on the water according to the distance and come to the finish line as quickly as possible. At the finish line the judge registers the arrival time of each yacht. Then follows the most enjoyable part, which is the announcement of results and awarding.
